This year is the 28th Anniversary of the South Florida Race for the Cure®. We have lots of exciting things planned for the Race, including:
A new Printed Race Map – This will be an artistic watercolor designed by local artist, Melissa Rinaldi of Go Coastal Gallery at Harbourside in Jupiter. We will be selling t-shirts and blankets onsite with this map design with a percentage of sales going back to Komen South Florida.
The Mens and Womens 5K Run will take place simultaneously this year to tighten up our early morning program. Medals will be awarded at the conclusion of the 5K race right near the finish line.
A Mission Village with individual tents for each of our Komen South Florida grantees to explain how they use your dollars to benefit the underserved in our service area.
We are also keeping some popular Race favorites, including the venue; the Meyer Amphitheatre at the foot of Clematis Street next to the Intracoastal Waterway in West Palm Beach, the Team Tailgate, and the 1-mile Family Fun Run, and the Tots and Kids Run.
