Leslie Gray Streeter to Grand Marshal family race with her son Brooks
Register now to join Leslie and Brooks on January 27 for the #RaceForTheCure.
Last year, pop culture personality and Palm Beach Post columnist Leslie Gray
Streeter cheered people on as they walked and ran the Race for the Cure®. By her side was her son, Brooks. The duo embodies
“quality family time,” spent encouraging others to give, support each other and have fun. This year, Leslie and Brooks are the Grand Marshals for the Family Fun Race, leading the way in style.
“At Brooks’ first ‘Race For The Cure’ last year, he was fascinated with the excitement of it all – the families walking together, the faster racers competing for medals (we were not among them, of course) and a general feeling that something important was happening. This year, as we proudly serve as the Grand Marshals of the Family Fun Walk, I believe he’s old enough to understand that the excitement is about, that we and all of
the other families are racing for a cure so that more mommies and daddies can be healthy and happy enough to race with us. We’re not going to beat a lot of other racers, but together, we can beat breast cancer. And how cool is that?”
