Boca Raton Forum–Breast health educator on a mission to make teens aware

Lorna Johnson has set a mission for her life as a breast cancer survivor. She not only celebrates the life she has after two battles with the diseases – one recently and one 16 years ago – but to educate other women on how they can keep their breasts healthy.
Since last July, Johnson has been working as a breast health educator with Planned Parenthood of South Florida and the Treasure Coast, Inc. helping to educate and empower women about breast health in the communities of Palm Beach and Broward counties. The program is funded through an education grant from the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
