Palm Beach: The city of . . . pink lights?
For the second year, thousands of pink lights are to shine through January on the south bridge that connects The Island to the real world in honor of upcoming events for Susan G. Komen For The Cure.
The breast cancer research non-profit, which was started by Palm Beacher Nancy Brinker and got so popular that even NFL stars wear pink during games, turns 31!
Festivities start tonight as residents are invited to the lighting of the bridge at 6 p.m. on the West Palm Beach side.
